The exact cause of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven additional victims is not yet known, but reports are not surfacing that the helicopter was flying in dangerous fog conditions.

Per the Associated Press, the fog conditions in the Los Angeles area were so bad that the LA Police Department and the county sheriff's department grounded their helicopter units yesterday (January 26.)

The helicopter crash happened around 9:45 AM PT. Since the news broke yesterday, all seven additional victims have been confirmed in the crash: Orange Coast College head baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, Keri Altobelli, and their daughter, Alyssa Altobelli; Harbor Day School basketball coach  Christina Mauser; Sarah Chester and Payton Chester, a mother and middle school-aged daughter; and Ara Zobayan, the pilot of the helicopter.
