Man Facing Prison Time For Attacking Police With Cat

A Russian man is facing up to five years behind bars after attacking police officers - with a cat.

Cops were responding to a noise complaint when 59-year-old Gennady Shcherbakov threw a cat at the officers, one of whom was badly scratched in the face.

Police say Shcherbakov had been drinking at the time of the feline assault, while Shcherbakov insists the cat leapt of its own accord.
