The band is in the studio, they're just not as far along as we initially thought.
You likely remember back in June that Megadeth's Dave Mustaine announced he is battling throat cancer. A short time later, Mustaine was photographed in studio, which would lead one to believe that a new record is imminent. Not quite, says bassist David Ellefson.
