Al Beck was born and raised in Michigan’s metro Detroit area. He graduated from the Specs Howard broadcasting school in 2006 and began his radio career while attending school.

Al joins the ROCK 92.9 crew as the afternoon host and is known from Dave & Chuck the Freak as the resident nerd and lover of old movies and TV.

He also co-hosts the Nerd Radio podcast, a celebration of all things nerdy!

And he adds the ROCK news on the Talkin’ Rock With Meltdown Podcast.
