The Saddest, Funniest, Most Touching Thing I Saw All Year
I consumed a LOT of media in 2021, as we all did. But this one little tweet I came across had me running the gamut of emotions like nothing else….

The Ice Cream Man Funeral
In December, Twitter user Louisa Davies shared footage she shot of the funeral procession of an ice cream man...consisting of a seemingly endless line of ice cream trucks, all with their music cranking.
But who was this Ice Cream Man?
It didn't take long for someone to pop up in the comments with a tribute. RIP to Hasan Dervish, beloved Ice Cream Man.
The funeral took place in South London
Here's more footage from one of the funeral attendees.
Respect the Ice Cream Man
More tweeps popped up in the comments, pointing out that this is standard in the ice cream community. Which I think is a wonderful way to pay tribute. And so is this.
