The Sav-Mor Liquors on McGrath Highway in Somerville, whose sign has provided us with endless entertainment over the years, is moving to Assembly Row.

The news took the Twitterverse by storm yesterday, as one last cheeky update to the sign with the breaking news made the rounds online. Fear not, though: the new location will have a sign, too. But the Sav-Mor crew will have their work cut out for them to keep the jokes coming, as they’ve done at all their locations over the years. I’ve shared some of the stand-outs below.

  • Breaking News

    Poor Todd.

  • The McDonalds Feud

We’ll miss the feuding signs. Maybe Sav-Mor will find someone in Assembly Row to pick on?

  • The McDonalds Feud, Cambrdige Edition

Why keep a good bit to just one location?

  • Fall Feels

    An autumn tradition.

  • Medford Represent

They’ll let you keep your mask on these days, though.

  • Todd? Again?

    Poor, poor Todd.
