The Levitate Flannel Jam is set to take place on Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend, October 8 through October 10.
What is the Flannel Jam, exactly? Well, when you hit the website, they tell you:
Hoot and Holla! Flannel Jam is Levitate’s touring celebration of fall in New England. Featuring peak fall foliage, hot cider donuts, hot cider & whiskey, caramel apples, kid’s activities and so much more. The tour rips through New England on Columbus Day weekend with three stops: in Marshfield, MA, Portland, MA, and Nantucket.
And for those of you keeping score at home? Yes, this is the same Levitate responsible for the Levitate Music and Arts Festival that’s held in Marshfield annually. So you know in addition to all the fall favorites mentioned above, they’ll have live music to soundtrack your autumnal experience.
Levitate Flannel Jam
The Flannel Jam will be headlined by Greensky Bluegrass, a bluegrass jam band out of Michigan. Folk musician Molly Tuttle provides direct support, billed as Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway. The rest of the lineup is rounded out with a solid lineup of artists from the folk/roots/Americana genre. They are: Midnight North, The Whiskey Treaty Road Show, King Kyote, Aldous Collins & the Like Minded Folk, Buckle & Shake, Blacktop Strut, and Silver Heels.
I’ve shared some samples of their musical styles below. Flannel Jam kicks off at the Marshfield Fairgrounds on Friday, October 8. Then, it’s on to Portland, Maine for the Sunday, October 9 show. The weekend wraps up on Nantucket on Sunday, October 10. Tickets to all three shows are available here. And if you’re looking for more fun things to do throughout the autumn season, look no further than our Wicked Fall Guide.
