(Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)It was a special moment for Patriots fans as Tom Brady did his trademark run on to the field during a halftime ceremony today at Gillette Stadium. Brady thanked his teammates, coaches, fans and family and promised he's a Patriot for life.
Unfortunately the famous Tom Brady last minute come from behind win Pats fans enjoyed over the years didn't materialize tonight. The Patriots lost their home opener to the Philadelphia Eagles. But it was a great day for Patriots fans celebrating the amazing run of TB12. Here's Brady's speech to fans who roared with cheers at Gillette Stadium when Tom Brady returned home to Foxborough.

We had a lot of countless memories in this stadium, celebrating wins against great teams in Foxborough weather like today - where we loved seeing the opponents come in and worry what the conditions are gonna be like."

It's one of my core beliefs there is nothing significant in life that can be accomplished as an individual. It's always about the team. We built a culture of teammates that cared about 2 things. They cared about each other and they cared about winning. If you didn't care about those 2 things, you did not last here very long... and we were very happy to play against you."
