January Celtics Schedule: Games You’ll Hear on ROCK 92.9

Happy New Year! ROCK 92.9 is your 2024 home (sometimes) for the Boston Celtics. So let’s take a look at the January Celtics Schedule.

To recap for those not yet in the know: our sister station, 98.5 the Sports Hub, is the radio home of your Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, and New England Revolution. That’s a lot of teams with a lot of games to broadcast. From time to time, some of those games overlap. When they do, ROCK 92.9 steps in and broadcasts the Celtics games. Maybe we'll make a green version of our logo!

As I'm the ROCK 9.29. Program Director and a life-long Celtics fan, I couldn’t be happier to be airing a bunch of C's games on the station. We kicked off the partnership back in November, and it's been quite a treat to put the station on in the evening and hear Grande and Max doing their thing. Shouts also to Ryan Reynolds, who's been doing a bang-up job of producing the games for us.

As I type this on the second day of January, 2024, the Celtics sit atop the Eastern Conference. Their record is 26-6 and they're 2.5 games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks. Peeking at the Western Conference standings, the Celtics have a better record than the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are atop the West. I guess that makes the Celtics the best team in the NBA. For now.

Come the end of the month, that could change, as the C's have a few challenging matchups on their upcoming schedule of games airing on ROCK.
