If you remember, Dave has a full heated wardrobe. He has socks, gloves, and a body suit. Well, the manufacturer of the battery-powered heated socks he has just issued a recall. Did Dave's socks burn people?

According to TODAY, "If you've been staying cozy thanks to heated socks, you may want to take a second look at them. Nearly 208,000 pairs of heated socks sold at Costco are now being recalled due to burn risk. The brand 32 Degrees is voluntarily recalling the heated socks after there were 14 reports of burns related to the items, according to an alert from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The recalled socks were sold at Costco stores and online. The voluntary recall applies to 32 Degrees heated socks, which were sold at Costco stores and online at costco.com. Only socks sold from August 2025 through March 2026 are included in the recall."

We have been warning Dave for years about his heated items. And, if you remember, he had to take off his heated socks once on a walk because they were getting too hot. Now, that was a different brand but, he's very luckily they didn't do damage like these.

We know that he's not going to stop. He enjoys the heated clothes and says it's hard to go back once you know the joy of being warmed. We hope that he doesn't suffer the same fate as anyone affected by the recall! Can you even imagine if Dave burned his feet and couldn't wear flip-flips!

Enjoy!
