An old Japanese man fell into a hole while on a hike...and it got worse from there. There was a bear in the hole!

How scary would that be? Falling into a hole would be bad enough. Then, you get up and realize there's a bear in the hole with you? Uh-oh. The Japanese man and his wife were hiking when he slipped on snow and fell into a hole that was hidden and there happened to be a hibernating bear in that hole. Well, it ended up waking up when he fell in and the guy had to fight off the bear with his hiking poles! It did get a bite at his calf but his wife was able to help free him from the hole.
