A Subway employee in Alabama has been accused of shooting a customer during a fight. He's now facing a first-degree assault charge over it.

The incident happened in Mobile, Alabama. It's our latest Fast Food Freakout on Dave & Chuck The Freak. You never expect a gun to be pulled by your sandwich artist when you go to get a footlong. According to FOX 10 TV, the Subway employee, identified as 31-year-old Markeas Bernard, got into it with a customer. It's unclear what started the argument but it led to the customer picking up a chair and throwing it at Bernard. Bernard ended up firing a gun at the customer, per FOX 10 TV. Fast Food Freakout: Alabama Subway Employee Shoots Customer During Fight

Bernard ended up sticking around the scene and was arrested. The customer was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition. Another customer was inside the store when it all went down and they were not injured during the shooting.
