Dave Gets Shot Down By AI

We always imagined if someone was going to fall for an AI lady, it would be Chuck. But, something happened today that has us changing our tune.

According to KIRO7, "Callers seeking Spanish-language instructions on the Washington Department of Licensing’s (DOL) automated phone system instead heard English — delivered with an accent — prompting the agency to pull the feature while it investigates the issue. The department said it recently discovered problems with a self-service option that provides recorded answers to general questions, including call-center hours. The automated menu is designed to offer information in 10 languages during non-business hours. According to the agency, some callers selecting Spanish or other languages were met with English-language responses instead."

So, we wanted to see if Chuck's AI girlfriend would speak to us in English with a Spanish accent. And, she did. We know that Dave loves an accent and you can see once she starts talking, that he is intrigued. Then at one point he blurts out, "Speak sexy to me!". Chuck immediately apologizes to his AI assistant after she says she won't do that. She shut Dave down immediatley.

We find humor in the fact that it only took Dave a couple seconds of interacting with the chatbot to get excited. Looks like all the years of him saying Chuck would fall for an AI girl have been turned back on him. We'll have to watch out for him now and make sure he isn't singing up for any of the sites that offer AI girlfriends or Dave could be doomed!
