Today, a new superhero was born. His name is Padman. He will pick-up all the feminine hygiene products your family member needs. He was born out of an email from a listener who was signed up for a similar task. Keep your eyes open for the Pad Signal!
During a segment of Ask Dave and Chuck the Freak, a listener emailed us about an issue with his girlfriend. They are currently fighting and it's related to feminine hygiene products. They were on vacation and he was tasked with going to get his girlfriend some tampons. No big deal. But, then she asked if he'd pick up some for one of her family members. He wondered if he was in the wrong for not liking the idea of that.
So, we discussed it and were all in agreement that it was asking too much. Picking up those items for your partner is one thing but, grabbing a box of pads for your Aunt or sister is a different story.
Chuck says he'd be pretty mad about it and would probably just buy all the stores feminine hygiene products and then hand them out at home like some sort of superhero. And, Padman was born. He'd show up covered in pads, his car covered in pads, and you'd even see a Pad signal flying in the sky when he was needed to go run an errand.
A little over the top, he admits. But, you have to know the guy you're dealing with.
