Douchebag Of The Day: New Jersey Man Falls Through Ice Doing Donuts On Frozen Lake

The New Jersey man who reportedly fell through ice after doing donuts on a frozen lake is our Douchebag of the Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak. It's safe to say he earned the title.

Why have there been so many stories about doing donuts lately on Dave & Chuck The Freak? Just the other week, we shared the story about the guy who was arrested after doing donuts on a first date to impress his lady. Are women really impressed by donuts? I feel like it's so 90s. I don't get it. This time, it's even worse. A New Jersey man fell through the ice while doing donuts on a frozen lake. If you're going to do donuts, it's best you keep it on an actual road or parking lot. See video shared on YouTube below.

The reckless stunt happened at the Jersey Shore. Eagleswood Township Mayor Michael Pasternak tells NBC Philadelphia that it was, "Stupidity at its finest. It's not something you should be doing."

In a video shared on social media, the pickup truck can be seen spinning in circles on the ice before breaking through and becoming stuck. Parkertown Volunteer Fire Company Captain Frank Runza, Jr. tells NBC Philadelphia, "It's about more than you. You know, when you commit an act like this, when you do something like this, there's a lot of other lives on the line. It's about more than you."

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
