Chicago Woman Goes Viral After Showing ‘Spooky’ Basement

A Chicago woman is going viral online after showing her spooky basement on social media. Could it be the scariest basement in the country?

Basements can be a scary place. If you watch scary movies then you're familiar with what can happen down there. Of course, a finished basement is different--we aren't talking about those basements. No, these are more like cellars. Spooky, spider-filled, cellars. Not a place you'd want to hang out. The Chicago woman now has more than 7 million views on her TikTok video showing her basement. See the video for yourself below. Do you think you've seen scarier?

If you listen to Dave & Chuck The Freak, then you know that I would do whatever I could to protect her from that scary basement. Sure, I'd be incredibly scared. Probably more scared than her. But, again, if you listen...you know I have a type.

According to The New York Post, that Chicago woman is named Emmy Manisone. You can read more about her and her scary basement shared by The New York Post here.

What do you think? Have you ever seen a basement like that? Do you live with a basement like that?

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
