We're highlighting some incredibly unique foods on Dave & Chuck The Freak's Junk Food Roundup today. How do you feel about vanilla ice cream doused in red wine or Cheez-It-crusted turkey legs?

Those are the 2 treats we'll be introducing you to today. Sometimes these strange combinations sound great and other times it's something I know I'd instantly pass on. This time around, I'm not sure how to feel. I can see the Cheez-It-crusted turkey legs being good. How can you mess that up? However, it's the red wine-soaked vanilla ice cream that has me curious. I love red wine. I love vanilla ice cream. But together? I'm not sure about that.

First, let's talk about this vanilla ice cream doused in red wine. It's going viral thanks to TikTok. It's basically exactly what it sounds like. You can pick your favorite red wine (I prefer a Cab) and your favorite vanilla ice cream and there you have it. Pour the wine over the ice cream and you get your treat. Reviews online seem to be pretty mixed. Read more about it from Daily Dot here.

Then, there's the Cheez-It-crusted turkey legs. These will be making their debut at the Citrus Bowl later this month. I could eat one while watching a football game. It's far from your traditional stadium food but I think it can fit in just fine. Read more about it from Food & Wine here.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
