We report on a lot of criminals on this show. Sometimes, we can't help but think about what the other side of life would be. Dave and Chuck aren't criminals by any stretch of the imagination but, do let their imaginations run wild when talking about these stories. Today, the Goodfellows Crime Club was born.
According to KTLA, "Some people weren’t happy when LeBron James’ “second decision” turned out to be an ad for Hennessy. Now, one fan is suing him. According to TMZ Sports, 29-year-old Andrew Garcia is taking King James to small claims court. He filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County on Wednesday and said the 40-year-old owes him $856.66. He’s claiming “fraud, deception, misrepresentation, and any and all basis of legal recovery.” Garcia told the outlet that he assumed James was going to announce his retirement. So he purchased two tickets, at $432.83 a piece, to attend what he thought would be the 21-time NBA All-Star’s final game against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 31, 2026. He said after James revealed he wasn’t retiring, the “tickets lost almost all of their value.”"
So, we began talking about this case and what happens in small claims court. We can't imagine Lebron James is going to show up and fight this lawsuit. Then, Dave makes a joke that there has to be a way to prevent someone from making it to court. And, we joke about how that is illegal.
Lisa points out the fact that she works with a bunch of wannabe criminals. We talk about all these crimes and always seem to fantasize about being on the other side of the law. But, we are good guys just talking about crime. That is how the Goodfellows Crime Club was born. A bunch of good guys get together and just talk about crimes they'll never commit!
