An American man is going viral on social media after getting stuck in a German vagina sculpture. It's embarrassing to get stuck anywhere--but a vagina sculpture? That's bad.

The American man had to be rescued by firefighters who I imagine had to be incredibly confused by the whole ordeal. The American man, who's an exchange student there in Germany, got stuck leg-first inside the giant vagina sculpture. It happened in Tuebingen, Germany. This story is as wild as the art itself which you can see here.

According to Boing Boing, the 20-year-old was pulled out of the vagina sculpture after roughly 30 minutes. The vagina sculpture reportedly stands 6-feet tall and is worth nearly $200,000 and is displayed outside of the microbiology department of a German university.

Thankfully, he was able to be freed quickly and without any injury. However, it might take him some time to recover from the embarrassment of going viral. He's certainly going to be known around campus now.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
