The glow of Cosmic Baseball is set to return to Polar Park on Saturday, August 1, 2026. After selling out two games in just four hours last summer, the Tri-City Chili Peppers are bringing their popular “Cosmic Baseball” experience back to Worcester.

The Worcester Red Sox announced that fans can now enter a ticket lottery at polarpark.com/cosmicbaseball. Randomly selected participants will receive early access to purchase Seating Bowl Tickets priced at $35 and DCU Club Seats for $55.

“Last year’s response was incredible. Nearly 11,000 fans came out over two nights,” said Carlie Brainard, Special Events Sales Manager for the WooSox. “The energy, the crowd, the glowing uniforms, it was unlike anything else we’ve hosted at Polar Park.”

Cosmic Baseball, produced by the Tri-City Chili Peppers of the Coastal Plain League, transforms an ordinary ballgame into a neon spectacle. Under black lights, every bat, ball, and base glows, and fans are treated to a pre-game celebration packed with music, games, and family entertainment.

The 2026 tour will be the largest yet, spanning 27 ballparks across the country, including stops in Nashville, Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Sacramento. Worcester remains one of the most popular destinations after the Chili Peppers faced off against the Glow Mojis there in 2025.

“The Worcester crowd showed us how much New England loves a good show,” said Chili Peppers Manager Tyler Johnson. “We can’t wait to bring the glow back bigger and brighter next summer.”

Cosmic Baseball has captured national attention with features on The Today ShowABC NewsSports Illustrated, and MLB Network. Notable past players include MLB stars Justin Verlander, Kevin Youkilis, and Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson.

Tickets are expected to go quickly again, and fans are encouraged to register early for a chance to secure seats before they sell out.
