Minnesota Man Arrested After Disturbing Incident At Naples Beach

A Minnesota man has been arrested after a disturbing incident at a Naples beach. He's now facing charges of battery.

A day at the beach is supposed to be relaxing. You can forget about all your worries and stare out at the water while getting a nice tan. However, it doesn't always end up going that way. Unfortunately, other people can ruin your relaxing beach day. That's what happened here. The incident happened at 11th Avenue South Beach and the victim tells law enforcement that an unknown man approached her and touched her without consent after she asked him to stop, per FOX 4 Now. She reported to police that the suspect even gave her his phone number and said to meet him the next day. That suspect has since been identified as 44-year-old Douglas Reid Pederson. You can see his mugshot provided by the Naples Police Department below.

FOX 4 Now reports that video evidence shows Pederson being picked up shortly after the incident in a vehicle driven by his wife with their 2 children in the car. Wonder if she knew what was going on? That would be a terrible thing to find out how he was allegedly spending his beach day.
