A Florida man is going viral after reportedly stealing $7k worth of lottery tickets and then returning to taht same store hours later to redeem them! Not the smartest move!

It's behavior like this that often leads to you being named the Idiot Criminal Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak. While we aren't officially giving him the title today, there's an argument that can be made that he is worthy of the award. According to The New York Post, 43-year-old Justin Farley stole the tickets from a St. Petersburg Circle K. Reports say he then tried to redeem them at a local 7-Eleven but was unsuccessful. So, he returned to that same Circle K he got the tickets from hoping to redeem them there. That was one of many poor decisions made in this story.

The New York Post says he left the Circle K and went back to the 7-Eleven where he robbed them at gun point and made off with $120 and a pack of Newports.

He was later apprehended thanks to surveillance footage and they had his license plate number. He was booked on charges including commercial burglary and grand theft. He's also facing a charge of interference with commerce by threat or violence, per The New York Post. It appears that this is not his first run-in with the law.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
