What some find to be romantic, others can find creepy. Isn't that how life works. One persons trash is another person's treasure, or whatever. Well, we were asking listeners to share their is it romantic or creepy moments and it took a turn right at the start. It ended up being an example of one of Dave's date ideas.
Dave wanted to know from listeners the things that people think are romantic but are actually creepy. And, before he could even give out the number for people to call, Chuck and Lisa gave him a look. They had their example already, almost immediately.
If you have been listening for a while then you'll remember this story. If not, it's a great one. Dave once planned a date for his girlfriend. It included a cliffside view, a picnic, and a barbershop quartet.
Some people might find this to be romantic, but Chuck and Lisa have never agreed. Dave says it worked and he was able to seal the deal at the end of the night. Not many people are busting out the barbershop quartets these days. But, as I said before, Dave is a romantic!
So, it doesn't end up being all about Dave. After some friendly crap talk, we move on the YOU, the listeners. We heard about all sorts of stuff. And, more about feet than we would have expected.
One listener said she woke up to a guy sucking on her toes. One listener finds staring into your eyes before kissing to be creepy, not romantic. One guy was receiving some mouth stuff and found the extended eye contact to the creepy.
So, again, it's whatever you like. You have to know your partner before you pull off any romantic moves. What you think is romantic could always be taken as creepy!
