The start of September kicks off the beginning of several tech-focused programs, including Fintech Week and others. Mark your calendars for the following events:

Startup Boston Week, Sept. 8-12

Five days of free programming will offer panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities for people interested in developing a startup. This ninth annual event will take place on the Suffolk University campus in Boston.

Boston Blockchain Week, Sept. 9-13

A five‑day regional blockchain and AI event will be held at locations along the MBTA's Red Line. Entrepreneurs, investors and the director of Dirty Coin, a 2024 documentary film about Bitcoin mining, are expected to attend. 

Boston Fintech Week, Sept. 15-19

Learn more about technologies related to financial services and don't miss the AI-revived version of founding father Alexander Hamilton. “Attendees of Boston Fintech Week will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with Alexander Hamilton and ask him questions about U.S. financial history, his life, and current events, including fintech,” a spokesperson said. 

Events will take place in and near the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Speakers will represent Fidelity Investments, MassMutual, HSBC, Eastern Bank, and others.

Boston AI Week, Sept. 26-Oct. 3

Learn how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing fields such as health care, education, and filmmaking. Congressman Jake Auchincloss will discuss national competitiveness and Congress's role in regulating AI. Don't miss the career fair at Boston's Hynes Convention Center on Oct. 1.

Massachusetts STEM Education Week, Oct. 20-24

The statewide initiative under the “STEM Starts Now” theme will inspire learners of all ages to engage with STEM through design challenges and events. Events include the “Moon Over Merrimack Family Astronomy Festival” in North Andover, “Explore the EcoTarium” in Worcester, and “Light Lab” in Charlestown.

Tough Tech Week, Oct. 27-31

Organized by The Engine, an incubator space and venture capital fund in Cambridge affiliated with MIT, Tough Tech Week touches on biotechnology, climate technology, energy, and national security. During this week, the Gateway Cities Innovation Summit will be held in Lowell, while Worcester Polytechnic Institute will invite a set of startups to Cambridge for demonstrations. Tough Tech Week will include a job fair on Oct. 28, held at The Engine.
