While Diego Pavia was causing havoc on the field for his opponents it sounds like his brothers were causing havoc in the stands during the game. This is unfortunately becoming quite common these days with the behavior of family members of players misbehaving and getting lots of attention. It's notably happened in the NFL with Patrick Mahomes' brother Jackson. Now, it appears to be happening at the college level as well. The New York Post reports that Diego's 2 brothers, Roel and Javier, were both arrested on Saturday on misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest. 26-year-old Roel is reportedly facing an additional felony charge of assault on law enforcement, per The New York Post.

WSMV reports that officers with the Vanderbilt University Police Department were called about a belligerent man annoying fans by throwing food at the game. When officers arrived, they located 25-year-old Javier Pavia and noticed he was intoxicated, staggering, and smelled of alcohol, per WSMV. He was asked to leave the stadium for being a nuisance but refused. When the officers approached him he reportedly resisted arrest and continued until he was put in the patrol vehicle. As Javier was being arrested, Roel saw what was happening and confronted the officers and pushed one in the chest before running off, WSMV reports. He was located shortly after and placed under arrest himself.
Both of the brothers were booked into the Davidson County Jail. I've been to many college football games and it's a wild time. Do you know how drunk and annoying you have to be in order to be asked to leave and have the cops called on you? People are drinking all around you. There's a lot of bad behavior and people being annoying and for you to be noticed and called out that hard for it, it has to be something extra. Don't be "that guy."
This is such a bad look not only for the 2 brothers who were arrested but for Diego himself. He has enough on his plate as a student-athlete trying to win games for Vanderbilt. Now he also has to answer questions about his brothers and it's a major distraction. When it comes draft time teams might remember an incident like this and it might cause him to fall down draft boards. Some teams don't want to deal with the Jackson Mahomes situation and you can't blame them!
