A Canadian woman was caught driving around with a large metal staircase attached to her car. Apparently, it's believed she backed into it and didn't know!

The incident happened in Mississauga and when you see it you know it has to be an accident. There's no way this could happen on purpose or that she was planning on transporting these stairs that way. On the other side, how do you not know you're carrying around a large metal staircase? It would be clearly obvious with your eyes and your ears because you'd definitely hear some scraping, right? After an investigation, officers say the driver had initially backed into a building and struck stairs that ended up breaking off and attached to the vehicle, per CP24!

When you hear about a stair car you might remember the popular one featured on Arrested Development, but this isn't like that. That was intentional. This appears to have been an accident. Const. Tyler Bell-Morena said in a video on Instagram, "We're not really sure what the heck was going on there," via CP24. The 22-year-old driver from Woodbridge has been charged with careless driving and additional charges may follow. The investigation remains ongoing.

I just don't get how you wouldn't notice it? If you did notice it, you certainly wouldn't keep driving! You'd pull over to get it taken care of. It could be very dangerous to be carrying that around. It could fall off at any moment and hit the car behind you!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
