The Milwaukee Brewers recently won their 12th game in a row and since the 1940s, that means free burgers from George Webb Restaurants! However, you have to be patient and wait for it!

One Milwaukee Brewers fan is now going viral after calling 911 because he didn't get his free burger as promised from George Webb. The problem? The giveaway hasn't started yet! He jumped the gun and expected it too early. Remember what they say, "good things come to those who wait." Clearly, this fan isn't familiar with the popular expression. These types of things take time to prepare and develop and sounds like he wasn't in the loop with how it all operates.

You don't want to be that guy. Never be that guy! You can listen to a clip of the 911 call provided by Chicago WRONG Sox on X (formerly Twitter) below.

According to Tom Wachs on X, the restaurant has ordered 25,000 pounds of meat and plan on giving away 100,000 free burgers next week. That's a lot of burgers! I wonder if it works for the restaurant or if they kind of start hoping the streak doesn't make it to 12 once it starts going. That's a lot of free burgers! But the attention they're getting could be worth it. The Milwaukee Brewers have had a great season, will they be able to finish strong or will it end in disappointment once again?

George Webb's X account says free burger day will be August 20th.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
