A Ferrari driver was busted for speeding on the way to his birthday party. He was accused of going 130km/h in a 70km/h zone.

130km/h roughly translates to 80mph here Stateside. Just because it's your birthday, doesn't mean everything has to go your way. You can't have every wish come true. According to CTV News, the Ferrari driver pleaded with police saying, "Please, it's my birthday. I'm on my way to my birthday party. I haven't driven the Ferrari in a while. Officer...I'm on my way to my birthday party, please officer, please." Well, it sounds like he was polite about it at least? Check out a video shared by CP24 about it on YouTube below.

Hopefully he was still able to enjoy his birthday party. They ended up towing his car so someone likely had to come and pick him up, hopefully mom was able to make it on time so he could blow out his candles.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
