Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera has passed away while touring with the notorious haunted Annabelle doll. It has the internet talking.

We were just talking about the Annabelle doll the other day on Dave & Chuck The Freak and now she's back in the news. Dan Rivera, a paranormal investigator who has been seen on shows like Most Haunted Places on the Travel Channel, passed away this week at the age of 54 while on his sold-out 'Devils On The Run Tour,' per Unilad. He was in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on tour when it happened. Now, the internet has picked up on the story and they appear to be quite freaked out. He appeared to be in good health and people are wondering if the haunted Annabelle doll has anything to do with his untimely passing.

Unilad reports that emergency services rushed to his hotel room after he wrapped up his show and arrived around 8pm to perform CPR. Unfortunately, Rivera was declared dead at the scene. His family took to social media to share an emotional and heartfelt tribute to the father of 4.

Adams County Coroner Francis Dutrow is now conducting an investigation into the circumstances of his death and the exact cause is yet to be confirmed, per Unilad. The autopsy will give more answers as to what happened but that might take weeks or even months to get results for. They're saying that his death did not appear to be suspicious and he was found in his hotel room alone.

However, people can't let it slide that he was on tour with Annabelle one of the most haunted dolls ever. Could she have something to do with it? Highly unlikely but I'm not going to count it out.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
