You never know what you might find at your local Goodwill or out thrifting. People have made some very incredible discoveries for very little cost. Remember a few years ago there was the woman who found the Roman statue? That would have been crazy. While this isn't that good of a find, it's still amazing and shows what you can find at a store near you. Sometimes, things can slip through the cracks and the store doesn't realize what they have. Sometimes, they should have checked a little harder and opened some drawers! Instead, they didn't and now it's a treasure that belongs to someone else! This story was recently shared on r/ThriftStoreHauls on Reddit and is now going viral.

It appears that the original Reddit post has been deleted or removed but screenshots and articles still exist showing what was said. According to Yahoo!, the original post read, "Always check jewelry boxes. Today I struck gold (literally). After organizing, the first drawer is junk/costume, second is sterling (16g), third is 10kt gold (7.95g), and fourth is 14kt gold (7.1g). Plus a ladies Wittnauer with a sapphire crystal. All for $9.99."
She added up the value and expects it to exceed more than $1,000. Commenters seem to agree with her and see it as a great and rare find. They point out things like the diamonds appearing to be real and that it's a great score. Always check inside the box! You never know what you might find!
