I would imagine that Washington D.C. would put on a great show and would be a cool place to be on the 4th of July. It's such a patriotic holiday, so you'd expect our country's capital to put on a one-of-a-kind show. It seems like my hunch and prediction isn't wrong! People rave about their experience seeing the fireworks in DC and that would be one of the best spots to watch them.
According to a post on Reddit, it seems like Boston is also a very popular option. It looks like it has the most responses on the viral Reddit post. People have great things to say about the Boston Pops Orchestra that performs during the show. It makes sense that Boston would be one of the best places for fireworks on Independence Day. Speaking of history, you'd also have to imagine Philadelphia steps its game up for the 4th of July. Commenters on the Reddit post point out that it has a consistently good show every year. New York City would also be a good option. That skyline would be an amazing backdrop during a fireworks show. Plus, it wouldn't be as crazy as New Years Eve, or anything, so could be a cool time to check out the city.
Other commenters on Reddit point out that small towns are the best place to be during 4th of July fireworks. That's a great point! Some of the best shows I've seen have been in small towns.
