A tequila-soaked turkey nearly burned down a Wisconsin apartment building. Alcohol can end up doing that!

When you hear about someone almost burning down their apartment building in an alcohol-related incident you'd expect it to be from them drinking too much. That can happen! You get drunk, get sloppy, and end up making some mistakes. It's happened before. This time around, it's a little bit different. A person almost burned down their apartment building thanks to a tequila-soaked turkey!

It sounds like the oven got filled with tequila fumes and exploded--blowing the oven door open. Thankfully, firefighters were able to get to the scene quickly and prevent the damage from being even worse. They ended up having to remove the entire oven from their kitchen. Nobody was hurt in the incident.

According to Channel 3000, it happened at an apartment building in Madison, Wisconsin. The occupant of the apartment says they've used this recipe before and had no problems, this time was clearly different. Sounds like the oven wasn't properly venting and that's what led to the issues.
