The Florida woman caught stealing from a cemetery is our Douchebag Of The Day. It's the title you never want to earn.

When you are dubbed The Douchebag Of The Day, it means you did something incredibly awful to stand above the rest. We talk about a lot of awful people on the show and these are the ones who really stand out. This Florida woman certainly fits the bill. She's been accused of using stolen grave mementos to decorate her yard! What?! I've seen some wild yard decorations but using something stolen from a cemetery just seems...all sorts of wrong. You can see Katherine Taylor's mugshot provided by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office below.

Douchebag Of The Day: Florida Woman Caught Stealing From Cemetery

According to FOX 13 News, 61-year-old Katherine Taylor was caught on camera taking a windchime from a grave and was trying to take another. Officers say that victims have been reporting miscellaneous items disappearing from the graves of loved ones at the Etoniah Cemetery, per FOX 13 News.

When officers went to her home to confront her, they reportedly found several items that were reported as stolen in her landscaping. She went on to admit that she has taken stuff from cemeteries before and previous reports show charges from 2020 for larceny related to a theft from an East Oak Hill cemetery grave in Palatka, per FOX 13 News. She has been charged with 2 counts of criminal mischief damaging property.

Why would you want decorations from a cemetery? That's so dark! Everyone has their own unique taste when it comes to decorating, but that's just strange!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
