Some Brazilian nuns are going viral for their live beatbox and dance performance. Pardon my French, but they're badass nuns!
It happened during a Catholic television program of all things. Now, these beatboxing and dancing nuns are taking over the internet. Sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula were talking about a vocational retreat, which is common for nuns, on Brazil's Pai Eterno, when they brought up a song about being called to the religious life, per ABC News. That's when they stood up and started their beatboxing, singing, and dancing which is now all over the internet. Even the host couldn't help but join in! Check out the viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) below.

Seriously, have you ever seen anything like it? I don't believe I have. It's great timing as well as the Catholic church is in the national spotlight night after introducing a new Pope. Now, they add this to the happenings. The Catholic church is all over the news lately!
Sister Marizele Cassiano tells the Associated Press, "That moment was very spontaneous, because with Sister Marisa, if you start a beat, she will dance. And I'm used to singing, to beatboxing, so for us it was very simple, spontaneous and at the same time very surprising to see that it went viral even outside Brazil."
I guess it's true what they say...you can't judge a book by its cover. You'd never expect a nun to have those skills but that's what makes the internet such a cool place (sometimes).
