A Texas woman is reportedly suing Walmart after claiming an employee assaulted her over $1! What is happening with people?
It happened in Cedar Hill, Texas where a woman is now recovering after reports say she was involved in a violent encounter with a Walmart cashier in the suburb of Dallas, per FOX 4 News. It was captured on surveillance video and you can see the cashier seemingly attacking the customer who was trying to purchase a frozen slush. Crazy that a simple slush could cause chaos like this! Check out a video report shared by FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth on YouTube below.

According to FOX 4 News, Ann Flores claims she slid $1.06 across the counter to pay for her slush but says the cashier wanted the money placed in her hand. Sounds like she didn't appreciate the cashier's tone after she demanded the money in her hand and tried to walk out of the store. That's when a confrontation reportedly started leading the cashier to pushing and taunting the customer and swinging her toward the counter.
FOX 4 News reports that the cashier, Shaireeimff Lawrence, was the aggressor in the incident. She has since been charged with assault causing bodily injury. Turns out, it's not her first run-in with the law. She has convictions for theft and drugs along with a felony aggravated assault conviction.
Now, Flores has reportedly filed a lawsuit claiming the company was negligent in hiring Lawrence and claims to have suffered 2 vertebrae fractures, a head injury, and more. Walmart tells FOX 4, "we take the safety and security of our customers seriously. We will review the complaint and respond appropriately to the court."
