Douchebag Of The Day: Driver Hits Vehicles With Rebar Hanging Out Of Window

The Douchebag Of The Day is the driver who hit vehicles with rebar hanging out of the window. How do you not see that coming? My first thought was this…

MIAMI, FLORIDA – FEBRUARY 10: Steel rebar is used during the building of a condo tower on February 10, 2025 in Miami, Florida. U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday he will introduce new 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports into the U.S., on top of existing metals duties. There is a concern from some economists that the proposed tariffs could drive up the cost of items built with the use of the metals. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

My first thought was this had to be intentional, right? How do you do that on accident and not realize what's happening? Certainly, you'd have to know that they are hanging feet outside of your car and they're going to hit any car that pulls up next to you or drives by you on the road. It makes no sense how you could think this would be okay! Especially after you hit one you'd probably know to stop and adjust things! That wasn't the case here as the driver apparently just kept going! Check out the viral video here.

According to Driving.Ca, this happened in the state of Texas. The video shows the rebar in the backseat destroying the side mirror of a Ford F-Series truck and then hitting one on a Chevy Tahoe or some sort of suburban. Debris is sent all over the road. Again, how do you not stop? How do you not realize what's happening? Well, that's what makes this driver the Douchebag Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak.

It looks like you can see the license plate on the car pretty clearly so I'm sure it won't be hard for law enforcement to find the driver and question them. Wild that they would just keep going like nothing's happening.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
