Neighbors around Arkansas City, Kansas are coming together to address what they can do about a viral naked walker who enjoys taking neighborhood strolls in the nude. The community is hoping police will step in because they're all so sick of seeing him exposed in public. Their voices were recently heard at the Cowley County Commission meeting this week and now steps are being taken to address the naked walker.

Neighbor Shannon Gurnee tells KWCH, "We've got small children that live right there, they've got grandkids, I've got grandkids. There's a school just a couple blocks down the road and it's just, it's unacceptable." People have previously called the sheriff but it sounds like under current laws the man isn't doing anything illegal.

Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti tells KWCH, "Unfortunately, we have to show that he has an intent to arouse himself or others which we were not able to do in this case." Cowley County commissioners responded by giving the sheriff and county attorney the authorization to write a new law that would outlaw public nudity, per KWCH.

Neighbors seem pleased that steps are being taken but sounds like there's still a long way to go until they get what they want. It would be wild to see a naked walker out in the neighborhood. That is not what you want to see.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
