When you cut corners, you end up with something like this. Instead of using visual effects to make it look like his pants are on fire, this singer decided to actually go through with it to save a buck. Probably not the best decision. Sure, it will look incredibly real on camera--because it is real. You don't want a fire anywhere near your pants. Pay the extra money. Flailing around on the ground trying to put out a fire isn't a good look for anyone, especially for your music video. Check out the viral video shared on Reddit below.

Commenters on Reddit seem impressed that he lasted as long as he did with his pants on fire. I agree! That was my first thought watching it too like, "is he just rolling with it? Is it going to bring him down?" Eventually he gives in and hits the floor for some stop, drop, and roll and removes his pants. He doesn't do it in the most smooth way, I'll admit.
Other commenters on the video wonder why nobody was around with a bucket of water. Yeah, that might be useful. If I were to do this there would be many people with buckets of water around in case things didn't go as planned. You need a Plan B!
