Sonic has a lot of tasty options. I love the corn dogs and can't resist their slushes. However, some food they should not be giving away whether that's to hungry customers or employees. A Sonic manager in Oklahoma is in trouble after giving a 16-year-old co-worker a marijuana edible. It all happened while the 2 were at work. The teenager had a bad reaction to the edible but is expected to be okay.

According to News On 6, the teen's mother called 911 saying she was possibly overdosing at the Sonic near 51st and Union. When police arrived, the girl appeared to be unconscious and had been throwing up, per News On 6.
Officer Danny Bean with Tulsa Police tells News On 6, "She was what you would probably kind of say as unresponsive. She was throwing up and being sick from all of the stuff she ingested." The mother reportedly told officers at the scene that Dalene Durham had given her daughter a marijuana edible and police say Durham admitted she did it but only because the teen asked for it.
Durham was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor (a misdemeanor). Regardless of even if they asked for it you still can't do that! It doesn't matter if they want it or say they can handle it--it's illegal. Bean tells 6 On News, "Not only a 16-year-old, but at a restaurant, where they are going to be involved with people all day long, getting food. Something bad is going to happen, even if you give that to a 16-year-old, no matter where, something bad is going to happen, especially in a huge public place. You don't know what could be in it or where they got it."
