HOUSTON, TEXAS – JULY 28: A McDonald’s store is shown on July 28, 2021 in Houston, Texas. McDonald’s corporation has said that its sales are surpassing pre-pandemic levels across the world as more of its dining rooms reopen after being shutdown during the pandemic. The company has also said that menu-price increases, larger to-go orders and its new crispy chicken sandwiches have largely contributed to boosted sales across the U.S. (Photo by Brandon Bell/Getty Images)

McDonald's has confirmed a return date for the Snack Wrap. It's finally happening!

The Snack Wrap was a once popular menu item at McDonald's that went away in 2016 citing supply-chain issues. For years now, people have been pleading with McDonald's for the Snack Wrap to come back and it looks like their message has finally been received! We now know that the Snack Wraps will be coming back on the 14th...the question is--which month?

McDonald's Snack Wrap Making A Comeback

McDonald's took to X (formerly Twitter) to say "snack wraps 0x.14.2025." That's it. That's all the post said. So, we know it's coming back on the 14th sometime this year, we just don't know which month. Since it's already past the 14th of April we can safely assume it's not coming out in April. Could it be May 14th? June? July? December? We have no idea! July 14th is a Monday so that might make sense?

The Snack Wrap was discontinued in 2016 after hitting menus in 2006. It was incredibly popular and you see that on social media. People have been asking non-stop for it to comeback for almost 10 years now!

McDonald's President of USA Joe Erlinger tells PEOPLE, "The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025. This has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product. It will be back in 2025." They've heard our calls and now they're acting. I can't wait to have one again. It's been way too long!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
