Giant ‘Fatberg’ Found In A Michigan Sewer
A giant “Fatberg” was found in a Michigan sewer. Sound gross? Just wait until you see it!
I had never heard of a Fatberg until this moment and I had been doing just fine without knowing about them. Now, it’s going to be pretty difficult to not think about again. Are these common in sewers? Is it a problem? I have so many questions and very few answers. What I do know is that it’s gross and this Fatberg was roughly the size of a blue whale! According to Inside Edition, it was found in a suburban Detroit sewer line and contains masses of grease, oils, and non-biodegradable waste that wasn’t washed away. These fatbergs can build up in pipes and cause a big stinking mess. This Fatberg was 100 feet long and six feet tall! That’s wild. Check out a video of this unique Fatberg below.
