S’mores Makers Start Fire In Long Island While Cooking Breakfast?
S’mores for breakfast? I wouldn’t call it the breakfast of champions, but it’s not the worst breakfast ever. One of the worst morning’s ever is when your breakfast S’mores start a massive brush fire. It’s hard to believe but for some people in Long Island, it happened. ‘S’mores Makers Start Fire’ is a real headline.
According to NYPost, “Massive brush fires that raged across Long Island over the weekend may have been caused by someone trying to cook s’mores for breakfast. Residents north of Sunrise Highway in Manorville tried to start a fire in their backyard around 9 a.m. Saturday to cook up the treat despite heavy winds, officials said. They had difficulty getting started because of the gusty conditions, so they tried to light up a piece of carboard to get it going, officials said. The cardboard ignited, and “the backyard area all goes up in fire,” Suffolk County Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina said of the initial incident, which was knocked down about an hour later.”
First off, S’mores for breakfast? Second off, a piece of cardboard in gusty conditions to get the fire going? These people were not making good decisions at all. It would be highly embarrassing to be the people who started a massive fire because of your breakfast S’mores.
Andy and Chuck pretend to be a couple of guys that were responsible for the blaze. We assume they are bigger guys because who else eats that kind of a breakfast. They joke that there will one day be a documentary about the great Long Island fires that were started by the camping treat. We can hear the narrator now discussing what took place during the 2025 S’mores fire of Long Island.
If you’re going to be outdoors, practice some basic safety! Eat all the S’mores you want for breakfast but try not to light a whole area on fire while doing it! S’mores Makers Start Fire is not something you want to be associated with.
