Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer At A New York Turkey Trot

Did a Grandma get run over by a reindeer at a New York Turkey Trot? Yes, yes she did--and it was all caught on video.

Okay, so it wasn't a Reindeer but a normal deer but 'tis the season so we're rolling with it. "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" is a popular and goofy Christmas song. It's different than your traditional Christmas and holiday songs. Most involve the family getting together to celebrate and share love, this one is about Grandma getting run over by one of Santa's reindeer. Always a treat. However, sometimes art can imitate life. It seems like that's what happened here as a Grandma really got run over by a reindeer at a New York Turkey Trot!

A Turkey Trot in Upstate New York was interrupted on Thanksgiving when a bunch of deer came charging through and destroyed a woman who was attempting to run. Thankfully, she wasn't seriously hurt or injured during the accident. She also doesn't look that old but people can't help but joke about Grandma getting run over by a reindeer. The incident happened in Watertown, New York which is roughly 70 miles north of Syracuse which is close to the Canadian border.

Those deer were moving fast! If you've never seen a deer up close they're bigger than you'd think! Also, if you hit a deer with your car you've probably seen that it can do a lot of damage...and that's to a car! Imagine what it would do if it ran top-speed right into you! That would be incredibly painful. Wild that they were able to catch this moment on camera. Of course, these days seemingly everything is caught on cam because it's always in our hands. If we see or sense something about to happen it takes one second to get our phones out to start recording.

It would definitely hurt to be hit by one.
