71-Year-Old Pole Dancer Defying The Odds In Los Angeles

There's a 71-year-old pole dancer defying the odds in Los Angeles. There's a new star in Tinseltown!

This is Jason's dream! Usually, pole dancers are young and agile. You don't typically see 71-year-olds in this profession. However, this 71-year-old pole dancer is making it work and smashing all expectations. It's really impressive and now she's taking over Los Angeles which is a city famous for its residents wanting to stay looking young and is one of the more age-obsessed cities in the world!

I guess it's true what they say, "Age ain't nothing but a number." This 71-year-old pole dancer is proving that statement true. Mary Serritella is changing the game. She recently defied gravity and shattered expectations while performing at the Bourbon Room in Hollywood.

Not everyone can make it in Hollywood. It's a hard city to be successful in. You've got a lot of talented competition who share your same goals and want exactly what you want. It takes a lot to rise above the competition and make a name for yourself. Not everyone who moves to Los Angeles becomes a star--most fall flat. Now, it seems like Mary is making a name for herself in the city of angels.

According to MSN, she pulled off impressive moves like "The Chopstick," "The Jade Split," and "The Black Sun Split." Now, I'm not a dancer and I have spent as little time as possible in strip clubs so I'm not familiar with any of these moves, but if you're in the know or if you're a dancer then you're probably familiar with them. It sounds like a big deal. Reading a description of The Black Sun Split it sounds like you grip the pole between your belly and thigh and hang upside down while holding a foot with each hand. Ouch! That sounds impossible--especially trying to picture a 71-year-old pole dancer pulling it off.

Serritella, who performs under Mary Caryl, shocked the crowd with her performance. According to MSN, she told the audience, "You never lose it if you never let it go. And give years ago I had a hip replacement. I'm a bionic woman!" That seems to have gotten the crowd going. It sounds like it's nothing new for her though. MSN reports that Serritella still wears high heels and performs in bikinis and shares videos of her self on Instagram. She looks like she's in great shape! She reportedly works out at least 5 times a week to help maintain her strength. Have you ever tried pole dancing? I imagine it takes a lot of strength to execute and pull off what they're doing. I don't think I could do it!

Personally, I find the older mobsters to be a bit more intimidating! Although, the millennial mobster is hilarious. Love the banter in this video and the character created. Perfect example of why we love Andy.

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about Chipotle selling new visor-napkin holders for the people who take too many napkins but want to be fashionable. Then, joke about what it would be like if Andy started wearing Chipotle merch because he likes it so much. I could see it! He'd be like a walking advertisement. Also, it would save a lot of time. "Hey, Andy. Do you like Chipotle?" *points to the shirt*

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a man who was abducted and kidnapped in Cambodia and forced to be a blood slave all while telemarketing to pay his own ransom.
