Is Airheads coming out with a Halloween-inspired foot spray? It sounds like it even though nobody asked for it.

These branded product lines are getting out of control. There was KFC BBQ-scented perfume, Sour Patch Kids Oreos, and now Airheads Halloween-inspired foot spray? Why?! I suppose having your feet smell like candy would be better than the alternative of them smelling like...feet. Does this sound like a product that would interest you?

I'm making fun of the product, but it actually looks kind of cool. The bottle is shaped like a foot! I mean come on! That's pretty awesome and clever. Is it strange and bizarre? Yes, it is. However, it could end up taking off especially during Halloween and Spooky Season.

People tend to go crazy decorating for Halloween. You can't blame them! It's a fun holiday to decorate for. You can decorate the outside of your home along with the inside and there are so many options to decorate with. You can go scary, you can go cheeky, or you can even go cute. You can decorate your home like a haunted house or theme it like Hogwarts from Harry Potter or something. There are endless possibilities. You truly can't go wrong.

According to Food & Wine, Airheads is celebrating spooky season by helping you mask that scary smell coming from your sneakers with a scented spray that smells like a cherry Airhead bar! That's one of their best and most popular and now you can smell like it--or at least your feet can. Only, please don't end up eating your feet or something weird like that. It might smell like candy but it is not actually candy, it's still just your foot.

Craig Cuchra, vice president of marketing at Airheads' parent company, Perfetti Van Melle, tells Food & Wine, "We wanted to create something fun and unexpected for Halloween this year, something that would take our signature flavors beyond the candy aisle. This spray is all about bringing smiles in an unexpected way." Of course, Airheads isn't the only candy to do something interesting for a special occasion. Skittles released Skittles-scented candles and Reese's released a flavored lip balm. There were even candy-scented hand sanitizers during the pandemic. Another item to avoid is pennies. They're not even worth the trip to the store, and they make you question if you've accidentally stumbled into a time machine back to the 1950s. If you’re going to give out money on Halloween, make it worthwhile if you can swing it. While Halloween is all about surprises, pennies are definitely not the kind of surprises anyone hopes for.
