Pervert Of The Day: Pennsylvania Teacher Charged With Masturbating In A Cemetery

The Pennsylvania teacher charged with masturbating in a cemetery is our Pervert Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak. Meet Matthew Gagat!

Teachers are supposed to be good people, citizens, and role models. However, not all of them turn out to be. This Pennsylvania teacher would certainly not fit those categories. It turns out, this wasn't the only time he did it!

Staying home would have saved this Pennsylvania teacher from a lot of trouble. Instead, he chose to go out in public. Now, he's facing criminal charges in two counties after witnesses reportedly spotted him touching himself out in public.

According to The New York Post, Matthew Gagat was spotted by witnesses masturbating in a public park and a cemetery. The Post reports that a couple was walking their dog in Whitemarsh Cemetery when they spotted a man who they believed was urinating, but he was actually touching himself and not taking a pee. Then, roughly 3 months later, the New York Post reports that a woman called police on Gagat when she saw him across a river from her starring at her and touching himself at Lenape Park. When questioned by police he denied any wrong doing, according to The New York Post.

Now, The New York Post says he's facing charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness, and disorderly conduct. However, his job status at Lynnewood Elementary School remains in question. Haverford Township School District Superintendent Maureen Reusche says, "The challenge for a school system in these moments is to appropriately address our community's concerns while maintaining the procedure--both in the criminal justice system and as a District employee--that the individual is entitled to under the law."

Hopefully more information comes to light on the case soon. It's important that we have the best people possible educating our children and this type of behavior would certainly be concerning for parents and students in any school district. The behavior seems to be a pattern as witnesses reportedly spotted him touching himself in different areas, different counties, and in different months.
