‘Kum And Go’ Is Changing Its Name And The Reason Should Be Obvious

Kum And Go (stylized as Kum & Go) is changing its name and the reason is pretty obvious. If you've ever driven past one, you've probably pointed it out and giggled.

It seems like the Utah-based company has had enough of the jokes. Now, they'll be changing their name and hopefully this time around it won't be something quite as comical. Read more about the coming change below.

What's in a name? Well, there could be a lot, I suppose. They say "don't judge a book by its cover" but when that cover has a big lit up sign saying "Kum" you can't help but to notice. It's silly but it could turn people off from buying their goods. Would you want a Kum Drink? How about a Kum Donut with frosting? See, it kind of changes things and can put the wrong image in your head.

Now, Kum And Go (Kum & Go, sorry I just don't like using the '&') will be changing its name to finally escape the ridicule. According to The Drive, the gas station and convenience store chain will be doing some rebranding after being bought out last year. One of the first changes? Getting rid of that name. At first, they thought about just changing the name locally in the Utah area, but now it seems like they're going to be expanding that effort.

A source tells CSP Daily News via The Drive, "If you're growing cross-regionally, which brand do you think will have more appeal to a new audience: Maverik or Kum & Go? No disrespect to Kum & Go, but the answer is pretty clear." You have to admit, this unnamed source has a good point. However, maybe that unique name could draw in a younger crowd? Gen Z loves some jokes and posting things online. Sharing Kum And Go signs could be a good way to get some free marketing!

So, it appears that Kum And Go will be leaving while Maverik will be more popular. It's a bummer for the sake of comedy, but we understand.

Oh, Chuck The Freak. Where would we be without you? The funny man often makes the Peep Show what it is. I can't imagine the show without his wit, comedy, and good looks.

Then, Chuck says if he took a pill that was able to grow his dong and hair, he would be the face of it for free! Now, that's a product I could get behind!
