You never know what you might do when you find a burglar in your home. You could hide, you could panic, or you can fight back. Watch as a homeowner fights a burglar with a frying pan below!

Fighting a burglar with a frying pan is a bold decision! However, you have to use what you have in reach and that's probably one of the better things to pick! It's definitely much better than picking up a soup ladle or dish towel. A frying pan would be heavy enough to create some damage and subdue the intruder.

According to The New York Post, Jason Williams was returning home from work around 3pm in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood when his security app alerted him of a home invasion. Williams told ABC 7 Chicago, "Came in the house, I looked if there was an available weapon...there was a frying pan laying there, so I grabbed the frying pan, and at the same time the burglar came downstairs. At this point it was fight or flight, and I would rather do the fighting." That's a good point! Sometimes, it's better to be the fighter than the fightee. Especially when you find someone in your home, you might have to just act!

Security cameras show the intruder exiting the house before jumping off the front porch as Williams follows after them wielding the frying pan. While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn't), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren't a matter of life or death. There's no ethics quiz here, or any matters of 'would you steal bread to support your family?' These crimes, and criminals, aren't straight up cringeworthy.

While all of these crimes are crazy and certainly cringeworthy, they also make for excellent conversation pieces.
