Cort FreemanThis morning on Dave & Chuck The Freak, we talked about the way the Dukes Of Hazzard used to enter their car through the window. So, Jason decided to give it a shot.
Was he able to achieve it in all his daintiness? Check out the video below!
Can Jason Do The Dukes Of Hazzard Car Entry?
You have to admit, those Duke boys did some pretty cool stuff in the popular TV show. The slide across the General Lee? Iconic. The way they could jump into their car through the window? An amazing feat of athleticism. Can anybody do it? We decided to put it to the test.
During the conversation, Lisa challenged Jason to give it a shot. We figured he was likely the only one of us who had a chance of accomplishing it. Dave would certainly not fit through the window at 7 feet tall. While it would be entertaining to see Chuck give it a shot, that didn't end up happening. Nobody else was up to the task so Jason put it upon himself.
Unsure what we're talking about? Check out an example from The Dukes Of Hazzard below. Then, make sure to keep scrolling to check out Jason giving it a chance.
Okay, there's the Dukes Of Hazzard doing it. Do you think Jason will be able to do what one of the Dukes just did? We didn't want to attempt the slide but jumping through a window seemed like it would be safe. Or so we thought. Check out the video of Jason giving it his best below!
He did it! Honestly, he looked better doing it than the Dukes Of Hazzard in the clip above! Is Jason some sort of freak athlete? Does the famous Subaru help make it happen? Whatever is to thank, it happened. Jason pulled off what we thought he couldn't. Now he just has to pull off this move in the school drop-off line. He would become a legend at that school!

Are These The 5 Greatest Sitcoms Of All-Time?
What do you think are the greatest sitcoms of all-time? If you had to make a list of only 5, which shows would make the cut?
It would definitely be a difficult task! Some great shows would end up getting left off the list. However, I gave it a shot and named what I consider to be the 5 greatest sitcoms of all-time. Think about yours. Did any of yours make the list? Check it out below!
What Are The Greatest Sitcoms Of All-Time?
You've got decades of great sitcoms to consider but only 5 can end up making the list. That's a tough assignment! I feel like everyone has their own list of favorite sitcoms but when you start talking about the greatest sitcoms of all-time you have to think a little bit differently. Yes, there's a difference! You have to put your personal biases aside and think about what the best of the best truly are.
For example, South Park, Silicon Valley, and That 70s Show are some of my favorite sitcoms but I recognize that not everyone feels that way. So, while I'd put them on my list of favorite sitcoms I can't put them on what I imagine the greatest list to be. I have to remove my personal taste from the equation. However, I can still be wrong! So you'll have to let me know if one of the 5 should be replaced and what you'd replace it with.
To create this list of the 5 greatest sitcoms I considered popularity, cultural impact, longevity, and a few other pieces of criteria. Is it going to be perfect? No, it won't be. Is it going to end up being just a list of my favorite shows? Again, nope I'll be honest one of the shows on the list I've barely ever watched and another I'd love to replace with one of the shows above but feel like for the sake of the general population and majority, I kept it on the list.
Ready to see what made the final five? Check out the list below! Make sure to let us know what show we missed and what you'd replace it with on the list.
Seinfeld
I'd consider Seinfeld to be the best sitcom of all-time. I'm sure people will disagree, but it's really hard to deny. Even 30 years later we're still quoting it all the time. People still talk about "pulling a Costanza" in a situation and most of the people around will fully understand what they mean. It's a timeless classic that's still bringing the laughs today. It's number one in my book.
The Office
It's hard to name a sitcom within the last 20 years that has had the cultural impact that The Office has had. Everyone knows it and very few dislike it. Could the British version replace it on the list? Absolutely, but I don't think it ran for long enough to make the list. It's still definitely worth the watch, though! Michael Scott could be one of the greatest TV characters of all-time and the show changed a lot without him. However, those first 8 seasons are certainly strong enough to earn the show a spot in the top 5.
Friends
The Friends finale was more than just an episode, it was a cultural experience. People still remember where they were on that day. It's hard to see keys on the counter without thinking about that final scene. Friends was hilarious and dominate TV and pop culture. What other shows had a popular haircut named after a character that wasn't ironic? It might not be my favorite but it deserves a spot on the list. Or am I just showing my age?
Cheers
I told you earlier that one show was going to make the list that I don't really watch. Cheers is that show. I have never really watched it. Sure, I've seen episodes here and there. I know the basic plot. I know the theme song. I also know that it's one of the greatest sitcoms of all-time and had a lot of fans during its run on TV. It is one of the best examples of the "will they won't they?" that The Office helped make popular. Ted Danson has been in a lot of great TV shows, this is one of the best.
The Simpsons
When it comes to animated comedies, I'm a South Park guy. Honestly, I watch more South Park, Family Guy, and American Dad than I do The Simpsons. However, a show doesn't run as long as it has without being special and excellent. There's no denying that The Simpsons is great. I just have always preferred the other shows. It deserves a spot on the list. You can't talk TV comedies and not talk about The Simpsons.
