The Biggest Poop Museum In The World Has The Perfect Name

Of course the biggest poop museum in the world would have the perfect name. If you like word play you'll have to appreciate what they've done.

Of course, around here at Dave & Chuck The Freak we aren't the biggest fans of puns. You've likely heard us make fun of the news reporters who do it constantly. However, we have to give props where props are due--and they certainly are here. Keep scrolling for more on the biggest poop museum in the world and what they decided to call it.

The biggest poop museum in the world just opened in Williams, Arizona close to the Grand Canyon. According to CNN, it has the largest collection of fossilized poop. There are reportedly close to 8,000 pieces in this collection, making it the biggest there is. However, it's not only the collection that's getting attention at this museum. Its clever name is also getting some eyes on the internet.

They call it the Poozeum. It only makes sense. Combine museum and poop and you get Poozeum. The child in all of us can appreciate that name. It's funny, but could get weird if you decide to go to the Poozeum for a first date or something. "He took me to the Poozeum" is a hard sentence to make romantic. I imagine it could be difficult to secure that second date if the first one is happening at a museum filled with poop fossils.

George Frandsen is the person behind the new museum and it's his coprolite collection that's on display. Per CNN, Frandsen told Guinness World Records, "Initially, many people react with a 'yuck' face or laughter when they first hear about the Poozeum. However, after witnessing the collection, their reactions often shift to shock at the diverse and intriguing nature of coprolites. Given that most people have little to no experience with coprolites, it's enjoyable to introduce them to this fascinating world and share the wonders they hold." Yes, George. Few people do have experience with coprolites...and for a reason. People typically don't want to play with or collect poop!

It is a very unique collection, I can say that. He's so into it that he quit his job at a large healthcare company, sold his house, and moved 2,000 miles to Arizona to pursue his idea of starting a Poozeum, according to CNN. Interested in checking it out? You can see items like the largest fossilized poo by a carnivorous animal which measures in at about 15.7 centimeters and is likely from a T-Rex! Things change as the years go by. At some point, Pound Town has to close down. When it happens? Nobody knows, but we're all going to get there eventually.

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a video that was posted by Taryn Manning (an actress known for 'Orange is the New Black', '8 Mile, and 'Hustle & Flow') where she discusses performing orally on the backdoor of a married man and buying him a new boat.
